About:
Atty. Josefe Sorrera-Ty is a notable figure in the field of law and accountancy. She was appointed as Commissioner of the Legal Education Board from September 2019 to April 2024. She was the Dean of the College of Law of Father Saturnino Urios University for fifteen years. She started her legal career as a PAO Lawyer and then she established her own law and accountancy firms. She is also one of the topnotchers of the 1990 CPA Board Examination. She was elected National President of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants for FY 2012-2013. She also became the Secretary General of the ASEAN Federation of Accountants.
